On January 14, Khanh Hoa Association of Agent Orange Victims held a ceremony to review its tasks in 2005 and launch its plan for the year 2016.
In 2015, 165 new members were admitted, bringing its members to 2,456. Over VND443 million was raised for the Fund for Agent Orange Victims. Over VND490 million was offered to the victims and nearly VND100 million was given to build and repair houses.
In 2016, the association at all levels plans to boost its propaganda as well as continue seeking donations from agencies, enterprises, individuals and organizations to help the victims.
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Association of Agent Orange Victims awarded certificates of merit to 5 groups and 8 individuals for their contribution to the association tasks in 2015.
