Khanh Hoa Department of Health held a ceremony on February 25 to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955-2016). Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Le Xuan Than, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee together with over 200 representatives who were former leaders of medical health agencies.

Over 40 years of construction and development, the health sector in Khanh Hoa Province has much improved, contributing greatly to the community health care. 4/4 criteria according to the Resolution No.18 by Khanh Hoa People’s Council have been satisfied together with advanced technology application in treatment, implementation of the national target medical programs, etc.
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee awarded an emulation flag to Khanh Hoa General Hospital and certificates of merit to 2 groups and 17 individuals. The Ministry of Health granted commemorative medals “For people’s health” to 135 individuals.
