Nha Trang City Red Cross has just held a ceremony to mark the 61st anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955-2016) and make a preliminary summing- up of tasks in the first quarter of 2016.


At the ceremony, the representatives reviewed the teachings in the letter sent from President Ho Chi Minh to medical staff 61 years ago with the hope for their greater effort in community health care.


In the first quarter of 2016, Nha Trang City Red Cross at all levels have held many practical activities such as mobilization of over VND6,270 gifts worth nearly VND1.8 billion for the needy on the occasion of The lunar New Year; 200 units of blood donated for emergency and treatment; free medical checkups and presents worth VND1.2 billion for the disadvantaged, etc.
