Currently, 137/137 communes, wards and towns in Khanh Hoa Province have community learning centers. Many activities have been held such as illiteracy elimination, education internalization, law propaganda, advanced technical transfer, vocational training and so on.
Since 2013, more than 5,500 workshops have opened for 540,100 residents, including nearly 236,600 rural laborers. The total funding from the State budget for the centers was over VND17.3 billion from 2013 to 2015.
The literacy rate in the province has reached 99% among ages 15 to 60 and 100% among those aged 15 to 35.
