The 2016 Vietnam-Japan International Symposium on Antennas & Propagation has just taken place in Nha Trang City with the participation of 50 professors and researcher. The symposium was organized by Japanese Institute of Electronics, Information & Communication Engineers (IEICE) in association with Telecommunications University.

The representatives discussed Recent research and development of on-board satellite array antenna systems in Japan; medical applications of electromagnetic wave, focusing on microwave therapeutic devices; physical layer transmission techniques in 5G wireless communications; wireless network and radar applications; etc.
The event was intended to provide an international forum for the exchange of information on the progress of research and development in antennas, propagation, and radio communication systems; as well as enhance the friendship between Vietnamese and Japanese researchers.
