Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross and Center for Blood Transfusion & Hematology and Air Force Academy held a blood donation day on March 19.

More than 600 staff and soldiers of the academy donated nearly 500 units of blood. The event was in the framework of the blood donation campaign on the Lunar New Year and the 2016 blood donation festival scheduled from January to March 2016.
30 blood donation drives have been held with 4,500 people donating nearly 4,000 units of blood so far. Over 350 units of blood have been sent to the National Blood Transfusion & Hematology Center and the rest has been allocated to hospitals in Khanh Hoa Province and some neighboring provinces such as Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan.
