Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training held a closing ceremony for the 2015-2016 English Language - Public Speaking Contest for high school students on April 7. 69 candidates joined the 2-day event which covered optional topics, including education; environment; entertainment; health; friendship; and family.

2 first prize went to Nguyen Bao Nhi, grade 8/7, Thai Nguyen Junior High School and Dang Ngoc Thanh Van, grade 11B3, Ha Huy Tap High School, Nha Trang City. The second prizes were awarded to Tran Minh Quan, grade 9/1, Chu Van An Junior High School, Ninh Hoa District; Tran Minh Hieu, grade 7, Tran Phu Junior High School, Cam Ranh City; and Ho Hoang Thuy Ngan, grade 11 chemistry, Le Quy Don Gifted High School, Nha Trang City. Besides, 4 third and 27 consolation prizes were presented.
The competition was committed to the discovery and promotion of new talents; and provided an environment to promote English language teaching and learning at school.
