Nearly 1,000 disabled people in Khanh Hoa Province have had access to loans worth more than VND720 million for business and agricultural production thanks to the national job creation fund, according to Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs.
Many business models of making brooms, toothpicks, sedge mats, massage therapy, flower and vegetable gardening have been founded, creating regular work for the visually impaired. Outstanding organizations include Khanh Hoa Association for the Blind with the model on broom and bamboo toothpick production and massage therapy, creating 115 jobs; Dien Phu Club for the Disabled, Dien Khanh District with the model on bamboo chopstick production, creating jobs for 20; Cam Hiep Nam Commune Club for the Disabled, Cam Lam District with 3,000m2 of clean vegetables and 5,000m2 of fresh flowers, creating work opportunities for 50 people, etc.
