Railroad safety is a top priority. Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company is committed to continuously improving its safety record, meeting the order and security requirement linking with the campaign “All people protect national security”.

Hanoi- Ho Chi Minh City Railway managed by Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company has a length of 283km running through the 3 provinces of Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa. Nha Trang Railway Station handles the most passengers and cargo in the area.Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company focuses on railway safety, fire and explosion prevention and control. Initiatives are taken each year to improve safety and transparency while accelerating existing safety efforts.
In addition, the company in association with local public security staff and authorities to enforce railway safety legislation and regulations; in cooperation with the public security of Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa to take many measures to enhance the State management effectiveness and maintain annual security assurance meetings between railway agencies and local public security officers of communities through which the railway runs. “Through annual meetings between Nha Trang Railway Station and the ward public security, we are acknowledged of the train operation and schedules to implement measures to assure passenger and cargo safety,” says Huynh Tan Chuc, a police officer of Phuoc Tan Ward.
Until now, Phu Khanh Railway Company has innovated and upgraded 12 railway crossings with automatic warning signals and guards in the communes and wards of Van Khanh, Van Hung, Suoi Cat, etc; installed additional 68 signal boards, provided training for guards and signalmen at railway crossings in the communes of Van Khanh, Ninh Ich, Dien An, Vinh Luong and so on. Patrols have been enhanced to protect railway traffic works and timely process information related to railway traffic safety and security.
Moreover, the close cooperation between Phu Khanh Railway Company and Dien An Commune Youth Union on guard duty at the km 1324 + 369 has effectively contributed to raising public awareness of railway traffic rules. No incidents related to railway traffic safety were reported in the commune in 2014 and 2015, says Tran Duy Linh, Vice-Chairman of Dien An Commune People’s Committee.
Phu Khanh Railway Company was awarded a certificate of merit for its achievements by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee in 2015 at the conference to summarize the campaign “All people protect national security”. “The company will continue its effort to maintain the achievements and frequently cooperate with public security staff of provinces to meet the traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention and control requirement; as well as enhance leadership and education to protect the national security," confirms Nguyen Nhu Binh, Director of Phu Khanh Railway Company.
