Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union held a closing ceremony for the 2016 Youth Month on April 15. Present at the event was Nguyen Dac Tai, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

Many volunteer activities were held in the Youth Month. The Communist Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial agencies released nearly 2 million marine breeders worth VND70 million. Dien Khanh District Youth Union cultivated 1,000 Acacia trees to protect the environment.
Besides, Khanh Hoa Youth Federation built a youth construction worth VND400 million at Cam Thinh Dong Nursery School, Cam Ranh City; Khanh Hoa Pioneers’ Organization built a “red scarf” construction worth VND50 million in Khanh Vinh District, etc. The social security activities were worth VND1 billion in total.
Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Dac Tai suggested continuing volunteer campaigns to make further contribution to the local socio-economic development, national defense and social security. 24 organizations and 25 individuals were awarded for their outstanding achievements on this occasion.
