Haly Hely Group, Nha Trang City is committed to helping the needy to overcome difficulties in life.
Haly Hely Group has just built and handed 8 rest rooms over to 15 Raglai families in Trung Hiep 2 Village, Cam Hiep Bac Commune, Cam Lam District. The construction is worth VND8 million. Besides, the group has also helped locals to install 8 concrete water tanks.

A local resident named Thi Tam, 30 years old, says she is struggling to make ends meet. Her husband with a monthly income of only VND3 million is the only bread-winner of her 5-member family. They used to travel over 1 km far from home to the river to take a bath. “We are living from hand to mouth We can’t afford house and toilet construction. We are grateful to Haly Hely’s help,” adds 66-year-old Thi Xem.
Haly Hely Group was founded in May 2012 with initial 15 members that have increased to 150 so far. The group is committed to raising fund to help the needy with at least 1 charity trip taken a month. Its activities have varied from charity visits; well digging for drought-affected residents; house construction, education, bikes for poor students, etc. A charity fair is anually held to provide orphan and disabled children with chances to take part in team games and get new clothes and toys free of charge. Its activities frequently take place in Cam Ranh City, Cam Lam District, Dien Khanh District. More than 50 volunteer programs totaling over VND360 million have been held so far, according to Pham Thanh Toan, one of Haly Hely founders.
“Most of the members are students studying and residing in Nha Trang City. During the first days of foundation, the group had to seek donations from its members’ families and friends. Gradually, through volunteering trips, more and more people know about our work and want to join our charity group,” says Do Huy Vu, Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang City, one of the founders.
Since its foundation, Haly Hely Group has done many charity activities. Since mid-2015, the group has funded building water wells for locals in Cam Phuoc Dong Commune, Cam Lam District and Ma Ro Village, Bac Ai District, Ninh Thuan Province. The group has made a plan to seek funds for breeding pig provision for the disadvantaged to improve their income.
The charity group has provided so much voluntary support for the disadvantaged Hopefully, such charity activities will be expanded to benefit more people in need.
