A wide variety of dance, music, sports, gym and art classes are going to open for kids at Khanh Hoa Children’s House this summer.

Summer vacation is approaching. Besides plans for outdoor fun and travel ideas, many parents are going to choose classes for their kids at Khanh Hoa Children’s House. Nguyen Chi Anh, Vinh Hoa Ward, Nha Trang City plans to select a Vovinam class for his son while Vo Ngoc Han is interested in a basketball class to help her son not only have fun but also grow taller.
 

Preparations for summer courses have been made early in terms of infrastructures and human resources. There are 21 classrooms and 3 sports grounds together with over 40 experienced teaching staff committed to inspire children to reach their own full potential.
 

117 classes will open for dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, Teakwondo, Vovinam, Vietnamese martial arts, handwriting, drawing, badminton, English language, etc, according to  Nguyen Phuong Danh, Director of Khanh Hoa Children’s House.


“This will be a great place for children to have fun, promote their  talents and improve their life skills,” adds Nguyen Phuong Danh. Summer classes are scheduled to last from June 1 to August 31 with 4,000 students, higher than last year’s figure. The classes will open every day, including Saturdays and Sundays. The fee ranges from VND250,000 to VND770,000. End-of-course tests will be taken with awards offered to excellent students, according to Doan Thi Mai, Chief of Training Bureau of Khanh Hoa Children’s House.


In summer 2015, Khanh Hoa Children’s House opened 146 classes in 16 subjects with 3,300 students. Many students won national and provincial prizes, including a bronze medal at the painting contest held by the Central Youth Union and the third prize by the Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV). 12 students attended the provincial Karatedo Competition and earned 3 bronze medals.
