According to Nguyen Van Nhuan, the provincial Youth Union Secretary and Deputy chief of the committee, preparations to welcome pupils and student for summer activities have been made well. Time for the summer activities will last till end August.
In this summer, volunteer movement will be forwarded in youth unionist. Accordingly, steering boards of summer activities at all levels will coordinate with steering boards of compulsory education in localities in the province to propagandize and mobilize needy pupils to attend free classed taught by volunteer students and teachers, guide them review lessons, and organize summer activities for pupils, especially weak pupils and pupils in remote areas.

Besides, activities for environmental protection, disease and disaster prevent will continue by specific activities like “Volunteer Saturday”, “Green Sunday”, cleaning environment, growing green trees, etc.
To improve swimming ability and prevent drowning for children, the steering board of summer activities will call for funds to open free swimming classes, set up swimming clubs as well as rescue teams and organize swimming contests.
In June, there will be many big programs and activities like the national Children’s Festival 2016, volunteer campaign of youth unionists, support for candidates in university examination. In this summer, the province will carry out a green summer volunteer campaign in Ăttapư, Laos to tie the friendship between youth of the two countries.
With an aim to grow activities for children and young peoples in residential areas to attract them to join movements, the provincial People’s Committee has given Instruction on organizing summer activities for children and young people in the province. Accordingly, the People’s Committee entrusts the provincial Youth Union to preside over and coordinate with related units and authorities to develop summer activities in the province. The activities are required to ensure following contents: propagandizing and educating about tradition, history, morality and lifestyle; organizing suitable entertainment activities; improving living skills, health, etc.
Activities in Khanh Hoa in summer 2016 promises to be practical and effective, creating useful playground for children, pupils and students in the province.
