Van Ninh District has transferred the land of the coach station in Van Gia Town to Quyet Thang Nha Trang Company to develop a trade center project. Since then, there is still no coach station in the district to serve the local passengers and transport businesses.

“I hope a new coach station will be built soon to facilitate our parking for picking up and dropping off passengers,” a representative of a transport business says.
The former coach station used to serve 40 coaches, including 20 buses and other vehicles of 5 transport businesses operating in the district.
The trade center project is under way and the first stage has been completed. Bus managing offices and waiting rooms have been set up on the project land for temporary use. The company has made suggestion for the construction of a bus parking station, 1,000m2, near the trade center, says Nguyen Thai Thanh, Director of Quyet Thang Nha Trang Company.
Reportedly, Khanh Hoa Transport Service Company is making procedures to develop the Van Ninh Coach Station project. According to the design, Van Ninh Coach Station will be constructed in Van Binh Commune on an area of 2.2ha. The total investment capital is approximately VND20 billion.
The new coach station is of the 2nd class, according to the standards by the Ministry of Construction. The coach station complex will include multi-functional constructions, meeting the increasing demand of passengers and transport service. The infrastructures will be well-equipped with parking lots, air-conditioned waiting rooms, pick-up and drop-off areas; offices, medical rooms, etc.
The site clearance is under way. The construction on Van Ninh Coach Station is expected to begin in the second quarter and finish in 2016.
