Khanh Vinh District held the 7th Red Cross Congress, term 2016-2021, with the participation of more than 100 people representing 2,178 members on June 23.
In the last term, Khanh Vinh District Red Cross raised funds to offer 20,000 gifts worth VND7.1 billion; build 6 wells and donate 84 OZONE water purifiers to school kitchens; build 36 works, including offices, boarding school kitchens and houses for the needy; and donate VND3 billion to charity.
In addition, Khanh Vinh Red Cross mobilized charity organizations to provide 18 free medical examinations and medications worth VND891 million for 6,600 patient arrivals. 9 blood donation drives were held, collecting 1,853 units of blood.
