Do Nguyen Tuan Linh aged 1991 is the Deputy Secretary of Dien Khanh Town Youth Union and Chairman of Dien Khanh Town Youth Alliance. Linh is also the instructor for Dancing Club (Dien Khanh Town Youth Union). Under the instruction of Linh, the club has got many prizes at the town-level and district-level festivals.

Working as a Youth Union member in Dien Khanh Youth Union since graduation in 2012, Linh has always been highly evaluated for her working spirit, activeness and creativeness. The town Youth Union has taken the initiative in carrying out many volunteer activities, such as haircut for ethnic minority in Da Mai Hamlet (Dien Tan Commune), yard building for two policy households in the locality. In three consecutive years, Linh counseled and organized the program to offer rice and gifts to the poor households in Khanh Thanh Commune (Khanh Vinh District), worth nearly VND5 million.
Additionally, Linh and other Youth Union members often do cleaning at Dien Khanh Ancient Citadel, Thanh Bridge Monument, Dien Khanh Temple of Literature, and Tran Quy Cap Temple; remove illegal advertisements; engage in maintaining traffic safety.
Especially, Linh was appointed to the role of Head of Social Work Volunteering Team of Dien Khanh Town. The team supports the authorities to prevent and resist drugs and prostitution; collect vagrants in the locality. “I attended the training classes on drug and prostitution, skills for social work team and consultancy work. Therefore, I and team’s members can support the social work of the locality,” said Linh.
According to Vo Nguyen Son, Deputy Chairman of Dien Khanh District People’s Committee, the prevention and control of drugs and prostitution requires the cooperation of many departments, industries and unions. The Youth Union members and young people play a significant role in the fight against these social evils. As the Head of Social Work Volunteering Team, Do Nguyen Tuan Linh has had practical contributions to this work.
With many active contributions to the Youth Union movement, in 2016, Linh was commended and rewarded by the district People’s Committee and provincial Youth Union for her exertion in learning and following the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh.
