The Ministry of Justice in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) held a consultative workshop on the draft amended law on legal aid on June 13.
Present at the event were nearly 80 representatives from local and national agencies and departments, Departments of Justice and legal aid centers of provinces from Thua Thien Hue to Ca Mau.
Reports on basic contents about the draft amended law on legal aid and relevant reports on legal aid law enforcement. Ideas and suggestions at the workshop were collected for the amendment of the draft to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration at the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly scheduled to take place in October 2016.
