Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council paid a visit to Khanh Hoa Newspaper on June 17 on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2016).

At the event, Editor-in-Chief Tran Duy Hung reported achievements gained in the first 6 months and the task for the last 6 months of 2016. Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has fulfilled its assigned tasks and its reporters have won many provincial press prizes. Khanh Hoa Newspaper is making a plan on celebrating its 70th anniversary (April 26, 1947-2017) and Communist Party Press Conference of the Central Region and the Highlands under the approval given by Khanh Hoa Provincial Permanent Party Committee.
Since the beginning of the year, Khanh Hoa Newspaper Party cell has admitted 3 more Party members, bringing its Party members to 32. Its organizations namely Trade Union, Youth Union and Khanh Hoa Newspaper Association Branch have operated effectively.
In addition, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has done good job in charity work. Khanh Hoa Newspaper together with organizations assigned to help Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District has offered 400 gifts worth VND70 million to the poor; mobilized Vietcombank Nha Trang Branch to donate 50 gifts worth VND20 million to policy beneficiaries; and cooperated with Khanh Viet Corporation to build a house worth VND52 million.
Khanh Hoa Newspaper charity box has received VND70.7 million and USD500. Khanh Hoa Newspaper has donated VND52.2 million to 6 people in need and mobilized Vietcombank Nha Trang Branch to offer VND5 million to the charity box. Besides, Khanh Hoa Newspaper in association with Southern Central Sabeco Trade Joint Stock Company has granted scholarships to excellent and needy students.
