Nearly 1,000 volunteers donated blood on July 16 in response to the 2016 Red Journey themed “Connecting Vietnam bloodstream” to Khanh Hoa Province. Dao Cong Thien, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee attended the event and joined the blood donation.

This year’s Red Journey drew the participation of 17,000 volunteers from 27 cities and provinces nationwide. 20,000 units of blood are expected to be collected. This is the fourth year Khanh Hoa has joined the event with nearly 1,000 units of blood donated on this occasion.
