Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has just issued the 2016-2017 school year schedule in Khanh Hoa Province. Accordingly, schools are scheduled to start the new academic year on August 28 with the opening ceremony on September 5.
Nursery and primary schools have at least 35 weeks of study, including 18 weeks in the first semester and 17 weeks in the second semester. High schools have at least 37 weeks of study, including 19 weeks in the first semester and 18 weeks in the second semester.
Regular education schools have at least 32 weeks of study. The school year ends before May 31, 2017 with primary education completion and junior high graduation recognition before June 15, 2017; and enrolment to primary and high schools for the 2017-2018 school year before July 31, 2017.
