The Ministry of transport has just announced the list of seaports in the Vietnam seaport system.
Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Province has 9 out of 245 seaports of all kinds in the Vietnam seaport system. They include Dam Mon, Hon Khoi, Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard, Ninh Thuy Cement Distribution Station, Van Phong Bonded Petroleum Terminal, Nha Trang, Navy Academy, Ba Ngoi and Cam Ranh Cement Factory.
Under the decision, Vietnam Marine Bureau takes the responsibility to give guidance on sea port management and exploitation in accordance with the law. The Department of Transport Infrastructures presides and cooperates with relevant institutions to provide consulting for leaders of the Ministry of Transport to manage, exploit and announce the list of seaports in the Vietnam seaport system.
