Vietnam Society of Solid Mechanics in association with Nha Trang University held a national scientific conference on composite materials: mechanics, technology and application on July 29. Present at the event was Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman.

More than 120 scientific reports from 40 universities, colleges and institutions at home and abroad were submitted to the conference. The scientific reports are new findings of mechanics, technology and application of composite materials in industry and life. Besides, there were reports on research and application of new material technology in some enterprises.
After the conference, representatives took a tour of a workshop at Nha Trang University’s Ship Institute for effective collaboration in the research and development of applications in reality.
