Nha Trang University has maintained its order and security through the “All people involve in national security” campaign.

Nha Trang University has more than 700 staff and 23,000 students, including 12,000 in Nha Trang City. It is the biggest university in Khanh Hoa Province and in the Southern Central region and the Highlands. The university has organized many student campaigns, including the “All people involve in national security” campaign.
The campaign has helped not only to maintain school order and security but also provide students with crime prevention and control skills and life skills, according to a leader of Nha Trang University. “The university Party Committee and managing board have maintained order and security to create a safe and convenient environment for teaching and learning. It’s important to promote the 'All people involve in national security' campaign," says Principal Trang Si Trung.
Over the past years, Nha Trang University has abided national security regulations set by the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security. The university security board led by the university Vice-Principal has been founded to build and take many school security measures. Every year, the school Party Committee and managing board issue a plan and a resolution to assure school order and security and launch the “All people involve in national security” campaign.
“With the support of professional units of the Public Security of Khanh Hoa Province and Nha Trang City, the Student Affairs Office has boosted propaganda towards the “All people involve in national security” campaign, traffic safety, firefighting; and the prevention and control of crime and social evils. Classes are required to sign pledges to meet traffic safety standards from the beginning of a school year. The university won 2 prizes in the “All people involve in national security” campaign knowledge competition held by Khanh Hoa Public Security in May 2016 with the participation of local universities and colleges," adds Tong Van Toan, Chief of the Student Affairs Office.
Especially, self-management student models known as “Dormitory self-management team”, “Red flag team”, “Student security guard team”, “Quick-response team”, etc. have drawn the involvement of many students. Moreover, the university security guards, including 16 members, are provided with professional training and well-equipped with security cameras, and on 24- hour standby to assure school order and security. Students violating traffic rules or school regulations in the 2015-2016 academic year decreased, according to the university security guard office.
Nha Trang University has been commended and awarded many times for its achievements in the “All people involve in national security” campaign.
