On August 26, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee held the 2016 Provincial Conciliator Contest. 7 teams with more than 40 contestants were from 7 communities namely Nha Trang, Cam Ranh, Dien Khanh, Cam Lam, Van Ninh, Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh. The contest included introduction and theory; problem solving; and acting.

The teams answered 52 multiple-choice questions and solved 16 conciliation problems related to civil cases, marriage, families, gender equality and anti-family violence control. The first prize went to Cam Ranh CIty, the second to Nha Trang City and the third to Khanh Vinh District.
The top team will advance to the round scheduled to be held in Da Nang this September. The contest is designed to provide conciliation knowledge and skills for grassroots conciliators; raise legal awareness as well as propagandize the Conciliation Law.
