On August 11, Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs in association with Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union held the 2016 second children’s forum themed “For safe lives, prevent accidents and injuries for children". Present at the event was Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

80 kids representing more than 294,000 children in Khanh Hoa Province joined a musical show, discussion about children issues, focusing on accident and injury prevention for children, a painting contest, etc.
The forum has been held for the second time. Many suggestions from children at the 2015 first forum have been taken into account.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Duy Bac highly appreciated the effort in child care and education in Khanh Hoa and affirmed the need for local agencies, departments and organizations’ listening to children’s opinions and aspirations in an effort to create a happy, safe and sound environment for children to thrive in.
