On August 14, Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union in association with Khanh Hoa Department of Natural Resources & Environment held a ceremony to launch the mangrove forest restoration 2016.

Nearly 300 Youth Union members and young people were provided the meaning of the forest preservation and environmental protection. Then, they cultivated 5,000 mangrove trees in the mangrove forest in Van Tho Village.
The activity aimed to raise public awareness of environmental protection and get young people to engage in climate change mitigation and the protection of natural resources in Khanh Hoa Province.
