On August 16, the Department of General Affairs on Legislative Development (Ministry of Justice) in association with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Germany, held the 2016 Training Conference on Law on Promulgation of Legal Normative Documents for Legal Services. Phan Chi Hieu, Deputy Minister of Justice and Peter Girke, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung representative head presided over the conference. Present at the event was Dao Cong Thien, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.
During the 3-day meeting, more than 100 leaders and staff of justice agencies from 16 central provinces and the highlands were provided knowledge of the Criminal Code 2015; the Law on Promulgation of Legal Normative Documents 2015; skills in policy analysis and policy impact assessment.
Reportedly, 256 legislation offices with 6,292 staff have been founded and nearly 26,000 legal normative documents have been issued over 5 years of the Promulgation of legislation work 2015 under the Government’s Decree No.55.
