On August 15, Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs opened a workshop on support for labor market development and job creation in Khanh Hoa till 2020. Present at the event was Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; and Nguyen Thi Hai Van, Chief of the Employment Department (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs).

Attendants exchanged and discussed issues related to vocational training and employment, period 2016-2020; Vietnam labor market development trend till 2020; labor market information system development in Khanh Hoa; career transfer model for those affected by land confiscation; career orientation for university graduates and so on.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Duy Bac affirmed the job search difficulties, especially in rural and mountainous areas. To settle the problem, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee assigned the Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs to develop the project on support for labor market development and job creation in Khanh Hoa; improve job transaction fairs and suggest employment solutions in Khanh Hoa.
At present, there are 762,000 people in the working-age group in Khanh Hoa. The Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs provides vocational counseling for 10,000 people, recommends jobs to more than 3,000 and successfully connects jobs for more than 900 per year on average.
