Last term, Ninh Hoa Town Red Cross organized 13 charity medical trips to provide free check-up and medication for more than 6,000 poor patients; took 1,062 people to Ho Chi Minh City for eye surgery at a total cost of VND4.2 billion, developed dengue control and prevention projects in 4 communes, wards and schools; and mobilized more than 4,000 blood donors, collecting 3,568 units of blood.
