Khanh Hoa Study Promotion Fund held a ceremony on September 25 to honor sponsors, award excellent teachers and grant scholarships to students. Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman, Chairman of Provincial Promotion Fund Management Council and Nguyen Chien Thang, former Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, Honorary Chairman of Provincial Promotion Fund Management Council.

37 sponsors with financial support totaling nearly VND2.3 billion in 2016 included Hung Thinh Estate Corporation based in Ho Chi Minh City (VND500 million); Ha Quang Land Company and Vinpearl Company (VND300 million each); Phuc Son Company based in Vinh Phuc, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, Nha Trang Bay Investment & Construction Company (VND200 million each); Khanh Hoa Lottery Company, VCN Investment Company (VND100 million each), etc.
In addition, 10 needy and deserving teachers and 4 students in the school year 2015-2016 were awarded. 279 scholarships were given to poor students. The awards were worth VND546 million in total. Besides, Yersin Admirers’ Association together with Khanh Hoa Study Promotion Fund donated 35 bikes and granted 20 scholarships to students.
Reportedly, since its foundation in April 2012, Khanh Hoa Study Promotion Fund has given 3,931 scholarships and awards worth more than VND5.4 billion to students.
