Le Thanh Quang, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Le Tuan Tu, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training attended a ceremony to welcome the 2016-2017 school year and mark the 15th foundation anniversary of Le Thanh Liem Junior High School, Nha Trang City on September 5.

At the event, teachers and students reviewed 15 years of the school construction and development from initial 6 classes with more than 10 teachers. The school has been renovated and significant progress in education has been made. The school was recorgnized to meet the national standard in 2012 and education accreditation standard, level 3 in 2016.
In 2015-2016 school year, the school had 16 classes with 480 students. 99% of students were qualified to move up and 50% were graded good or above. 100% of ninth-graders were junior high school graduates, 52.7% of whom were graded good or above.
In the 2016-2017 school year, Le Thanh Liem has 16 classes with 522 students. At the event, Le Thanh Quang beat the drum to start the new school year and granted 20 scholarships by Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to needy students, each receiving VND3 million. From this school year, in 5 successive years, the Provincial Party Committee will mobilize to sponsor 20 scholarships awarded to the school annually.
