Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council attended a new school year opening ceremony at Nguyen Thien Thuat High School, Nha Trang City on September 5.

In the 2015-2016 school year, Nguyen Thien Thuat High School gained some achievements in training and received a certificate of merit “Excellent labor collective” by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee. The school Trade Union was recognized as an excellent Trade Union.
In the 2016-2017 school year, Nguyen Thien Thuat High School continues implementing the Resolution No. 29 and the Provincial Committee’s education action plan No. 20 on fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education, meeting the industrialization and modernization requirement in the socialist-oriented market economy and international integration; promoting teaching method innovation and students’ self management and self determination skills; discovering and further training distinguished students; improving infrastructures; promoting public participation in education, etc.
At present, Nguyen Thien Thuat High School has nearly 900 students, including 258 tenth-graders. On the occasion of the opening ceremony of 2016-2017 school year, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee awarded a certificate of merit to the school and Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training granted certificates of merit to 3 subject groups for their achievements in the 2015-2016 school year.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Tan Tuan congratulated teachers and students who had fulfilled their tasks in the 2015-2016 school year and requested for their continued effort to get achievements in the coming university entrance exam.
