Nha Trang City Forest Protection Unit in association with Hon Ba Natural Reserve has just released Macaca leonina (M. nemestrina) known as pig-tailed macaque into Hon Ba Natural Reserve. The primate weighing 2kg is a threatened species that need preservation (Group IIB).
This is the 5th time Nha Trang City Forest Protection Unit has received and released the endangered primate into the natural environment.
