"Compassionate journey" to take place in Nha Trang

Vietnam Children’s Fund, Ministry of Labour, War Invalids & Social Affairs in association with Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee and Alaska Entertainment & Communication held a press conference on November 7 to introduce a "compassionate journey" program. 
 
Present at the event were Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Le Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Director of Vietnam Children’s Fund and more than 100 representatives from local departemnts and press agencies. The program aims to propagandize children’s rights and call for individuals and organizations’ joint effort to help disadvantaged children to live a better life.
 
The event is expected to grant scholarships and gifts to nearly 7,000 children 63 cities and provinces nationwide. The 4th passionate journey is scheduled to open at 19-8 Nha Trang Stadium at 20:00 on December 3 with a special art show and scholarship presentation for needy students in Khanh Hoa Province.
