On November 21, Nha Trang Red Cross celebrated the 70th foundation anniversary of Vietnam Red Cross (November 23, 1946- 2016). At the event, nearly 100 members representing Red Cross affiliations reviewed 70 years of the construction and development of Vietnam Red Cross.

In 2016, Nha Trang City Red Cross at all levels has carried out charity activities worth more than VND6.2 billion. Specifically, the Red Cross at all levels has offered thousands of gifts worth VND1.9 billion to poor, vulnerable old and disabled people and Agent Orange victims in the campaign “New Year Festival for the poor and Agent Orange victims”.
Under the support from the Central Red Cross, Nha Trang City Red Cross has provided water tanks, water containers and soap to hundreds of locals in Vinh Nguyen Ward, Vinh Luong Ward and Phuoc Dong Commune; and held hundreds of medical trips with gifts totaling VND3.8 billion offered to remote areas. In 2017, Nha Trang City Red Cross will continue promoting charity work, blood donation, community-based health care activities, etc.
On this occasion, Nha Trang City Red Cross donated helmets to 70 members with great contribution to the charity work 2016.
