To Hap Town Primary School was one of the five schools awarded an emulation flag by the Ministry of Education & Training in Khanh Hoa Province in the 2015-2016 academic year. Teachers have contributed greatly to the school achievements.

At present, To Hap Town Primary School has 47 staff and 568 pupils, including 265 ethnic minority children. Over the past years, the school has developed such campaigns as “building friendly school” and “each teacher is a good example of creativeness and self-learning” linked with the movement “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples. The school has focused on mobilizing children to get schooling and preventing school drop-outs.
 
Since the beginning the academic year, the school has launched teaching and learning campaigns, encouraging teachers to innovate teaching methods, make teaching aids and apply information technology in teaching. Besides, the school has also focused on life skill and physical education together with cultural and sporting activities to improve pupils’ health and overall well-being.
 
In the 2012-2013, the school was the first in Khanh Son to apply the new school model known as VNEN, which has contributed to improving education quality over the past years. In the 2015-2016, 100% of pupils met required conduct with no drop-outs and 100% of fifth-grades completed the primary education program.
 
According to Principal Nguyen Thi Hang, the school teaching staff are enthusiastic and hard-working to overcome difficulties to fulfill their assigned tasks. The school has created opportunities for the staff to attend professional development and state management courses. Moreover, teaching demonstration and study tours have been organized to improve professional skills and management competencies.  At present, 100% of the school teachers met professional standard and more than 95% of teachers with qualifications above required.
 
In the 2015-2016, 5 teachers at the school won the “Outstanding emulator” title. To Hap Town Primary School was awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee for its achievement in the patriotic emulation campaign, period 2011-2016.
 
In the time to come, the school continues developing the VNEN model and encouraging teachers to innovate teaching methods and make teaching aids. Good initiatives and methods will be applied to help trigger learners' interest and motivation to learn, and thus contributing to improving teaching and learning quality, confirms Nguyen Thi Hang.
 
To Hap Town Primary School has taken a lead in all professional activities and emulation campaigns, contributing greatly to achievements in education in Khanh Son District, according to Nguyen Tan Lam, Chief of Khanh Son District Division of Education & Training.
