Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training held a ceremony on November 17 to mark the 34th Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-2016). Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; and Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

At the event, the members reviewed the traditional Vietnamese Teachers’ Day; honored generations of teachers’ contribution to the local education and evaluated achievements in education and training in Khanh Hoa.


Over the past years, the training size and school network have developed, especially in remote and mountainous areas; and ethnic minority communities. At present, there are 531 nursery, primary and high schools and 10 centers with nearly 270,000 students in Khanh Hoa. The education quality has improved. The number of good students has increased with high results in university admission. The State President awarded the first Labor Medal, period 2011-2015, to the Khanh Hoa Education & Training sector for its achievement.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Education & Training presented excellent emulation flags to 8 groups and 11 individuals in the period 2015-2016.
