The project contains 4 components namely sanitation infrastructure; urban connectivity, site clearance and compensation; technical assistance and institutional reform.

The project is expected to be developed within 5.5 years, starting from June, 2017 to December 2022. The project preparation progress has been assured thanks to the partners’ joint effort and cooperation, according to a report by the WB mission.

Speaking at the event, Le Duc Vinh highly appreciated the joint effort and cooperation between the WB mission and provinces to complete the assessment of the second-stage project, adding that more support is required from the WB and the central ministries and departments for cities and provinces to finish remaining work, especially the bidding and site clearance for the second-stage project in the time to come.
