The Ministry of National Defense extracted 30 tons of dry provisions from the national reserve in support for flood-hit southern central provinces, including Khanh Hoa receiving 4 tons on December 17.

Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Military Headquarters received and assigned forces and means to urgently allocate relief to residents in submerged areas in 8 districts and towns. Nha Trang City and Ninh Hoa Town were provided 700kg of dry provisions each; Van Ninh District and Dien Khanh District 500kg each; Cam Lam District, Khanh Son District and Khanh Vinh District 400kg each.
All the flood aid provided by the Ministry of National Defense has been handed by military agencies of 8 districts and towns over to heavily-affected residents in Khanh Hoa.
