Flood comes back in Khanh Hoa, traffic obstructed in many places

. In Nha Trang, some roads in the north like 2-4 Street, Dien Bien Phu Street, Pham Van Dong Street, etc have been flooded. Traffic is difficult. Many sunken places in suburb communes like Vinh Ngoc, Vinh Trung, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Phuong, Vinh Thai are getting flooded as Cai River is rising.

. Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Education and Training gave no-school command from December 16 afternoon and all December 17 in the whole province.
 
 
 
. Many places in Cam Ranh are in flood. The deepest places are Cam Nghia Ward, Cam Thinh Dong Commune and Cam Phuoc Dong Commune. Especially, the National Road 1A through Cam Ranh and Cam Lam has been flooded, blocking the road traffic on these stretches.

. Ca Mountain Pass broke at 6 positions on December 15 night, which obstructed road and rail traffic between Khanh Hoa Province and Phu Yen Province. Many trains were stuck at this place and still cannot go through up to now. Police try to keep the traffic in order. Co Ma Tunnel has been opened for cars and vans to travel. Rescue forces are taking rocks and soil out of broken spots to clear the road.

. The National Road 27C also broke seriously. Vehicles on Nha Trang – Da Lat route cannot travel by this road.

. On Provincial Road 8, Suoi Khao Bridge to Khanh Dong Commune, Khanh Vinh District has been swept away by the flood waters. On Provincial Road 9, the east of Khanh Son Mountain Pass has broken, blocking traffic from Cam Lam to Khanh Son.

The local authority and rescue forces try to warn, prevent people out of dangerous places, and work hard to repair problems despite incessant rain. The weather in Khanh Hoa Province is forecast to rain till December 18.
