Under the influence of the continental cold air southward associated with easterly wind burst, heavy rain and strong wind are continuing battering the whole region with the precipitation of 30 - 60 mm .
The rain spell is likely to last until December 8 and the total rainfall is 70-120 mm. Floods have occurred at rivers. The flood peak is currently at the alarming level 1 and that at Dinh Ninh Hoa River is probably close to the alarming level 2.
