On December 8, Khanh Hoa Radio & Television (KTV) celebrated its 40th anniversary (December 12-15, 1976-2016). Present at the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Dac Tai, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; together with leaders of departments and agencies in Khanh Hoa Province and KTV former staff.

Nguyen Tan Tuan grants a laudatory writing by Khanh Hoa Party Committee to leaders of Khanh Hoa Radio & Television Station.
 
For over 40 years, KTV has made great effort to overcome difficulties due to insufficient human resources and infrastructures to fulfill their assigned tasks. Its broadcast time has increased from 2-3 hours to 24 hours a day for television; and 18 hours 30 minutes a day for radio. KTV has extended its television coverage to 97% in Khanh Hoa Province. Programs produced by KTV have accounted for 40% of the total broadcast time. KTV has fulfilled its tasks, including publicizing the State law and policies, reporting local socio-economic news, increasing broadcast time, modernizing infrastructures; and expanding its radio and television network, Nguyen Tan Tuan said at the event, adding that KTV is required to focus more on its staff’s professional development and political consistency fostering in order to meet assignments in the new time.
 
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Party Committee awarded a laudatory writing to KTV. Khanh Hoa People’s Committee granted emulation flags to KTV and certificates of merit to 4 groups and 21 individuals.
