Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just given approval to Nguyen Hanh Consultancy, Design & Investment Company to invest in part of Trai Thuy Hill Scenery Park project.

Trai Thuy Hill Scenery Park project invested by Nha Trang City People’s Committee has not been implemented due to funding difficulties. Nguyen Hanh Company desires to invest in some unprofitable constructions to create an environment of peace and tranquillity. Specifically, the company has suggested Khanh Hoa People’s Committee assign 4,83m2 to build a retreat park, according to a representative of Nguyen Hanh Company.
Pham Hong Hanh, Director of Nguyen Hanh Company says the total construction area is some 700m2, including 250m2 for a main retreat house and 100m2 for a small retreat house, shelters, a reading zone and auxiliary areas. The construction includes renovating and restoring Trai Thuy Hill scenery to add natural beauty to surrounding areas. The company wish to share financial burden on construction cost and social evil management in Trai Thuy Hill area. The project is not for profit and without religious purposes. The park and the rest area are for free, confirms Pham Hong Hanh.
Trai Thuy Hill Scenery Park project has a total investment of some VND37.745 billion, including electricity and water supply, wall fences, shelters, scenery lakes, a management house, etc. Nguyen Hanh Company will invest in shelters, scenic lakes and a management house at VND3.8 billion; electricity and water supply: VND3 billion; and a retreat garden: VND8.5 billion. The total investment in the retreat park is VND15.2 billion. The construction has 2 phases. When the construction finishes, Nguyen Hanh Company will maintain and take care of lawns and plants in the park, according to Nha Trang City Management Board of Construction Projects.
At a recent meeting, Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman, after listening to the investor’s report, requested the company to have a harmonious design which matches the surrounding scenery; and assigned Khanh Hoa Department of Natural Resources & Environment to consider documents and procedures for land allocation to the investor.
Reportedly, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee assigned Khanh Hoa Department of Agriculture & Rural Development to invest in Trai Thuy Hill forest cultivation in 2005; then assigned Nha Trang City People’s Committee to invest in Trai Thuy Hill scenery restoration from 2013 to 2017. Accordingly, the project includes the construction of electricity and water supply systems, walking lanes, wall fences, roadside shelters, vegetation, etc. Other architectures in the White Buddha statute area include a service house, a management house, scenery lake, handrails, yards, restrooms, parking lots, shelters, parterres, etc.
