Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary received Lee Hyuk, South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam on December 7.

Le Thanh Quang expressed his delight at Lee Hyuk’s visit to Khanh Hoa. Vietnam and South Korea share common cultural characteristics and have a long - lasting cooperation relation. Khanh Hoa Province is twinned with Ulsan City and Nha Trang City is twinned with Jung District. Over the past years, the two partners have held several work and exchange trips to strengthen the friendship. Korean art and music ensembles have also given exchange performances in Khanh Hoa.
At present, Hyundai is the biggest foreign investor with Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard in Khanh Hoa. Le Thanh Quang hoped the Ambassador would help South Korea Government pay more concern over the business cooperation relationship between the two countries; and promote Khanh Hoa destination to South Korean tourists.
Lee Hyuk commented that Khanh Hoa has a beautiful beach which is favorable for the development of marine economic in general and tourism in particular. In recent years, Khanh Hoa has received an increasing number of South Korean tourists, and thus South Korean businesses will be interested in Khanh Hoa. Lee Hyuk hoped Khanh Hoa would provide favorable conditions for South Korean businesses to invest in projects in Khanh Hoa.
