Traffic back to normal after delay due to flooding

At 7p.m on December 16, the National Road 27C reopened after flooding had caused traffic delays...

The National Road 27C reopened at 7p.m on December 16 after flooding caused traffic delays. The landslide debris was removed, easing traffic tailbacks up to 1km on the scene. The National Road 1 running through Van Ninh District and Phu Yen Province has also reopened to traffic after closure during heavy rain and flooding.

The Nha Trang - Phan Rang railway cut off by floods has reopened as of 7pm on December 16 and the rail schedules have gone back to normal. The provincial road 9, eastern of Khanh Son Pass, has been also cleared of landslide debris to facilitate travel.

The floodwater has gone and the traffic delay on the submerged National Road 1 running through Cam Ranh City and Cam Lam District has been lifted as of 5pm on December 16. The traffic in the region has returned to normal.
