Vice-President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh paid a visit and delivered financial aid to flood victims in Khanh Hoa Province on December 21. Present at the working session with the Vice-President were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council; Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman; and Dao Cong Thien, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

The most recent flood killed 9 people; destroyed 146 houses, submerged and damaged 10,000ha of crops; damaged more than 460ha of aquaculture farms; drowned 35 boats and ships, etc. The damage and loss is estimated at more than VND660 billion.
Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh praised the local flood recovery efforts and asked the authorities to pay special attention to helping victims to stabilize their lives and restore production. On this occasion, Vice-President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh granted more than VND400 million flooding support to the province. On behalf of provincial leaders, Nguyen Tan Tuan thanked for the Vice-President’s concern and support and confirmed Khanh Hoa’s focusing on relief and recovery efforts to repair damages.
