SOM 1 and Related Meetings had the 10th working day on February 27 with meetings of APEC committees and working groups, namely Economic Committee (EC), Committee on Trade and Investment (CTI), SOM Steering Committee on Ecotech (SCE) – Budget and management Committee (BMC), Policy Partnership on Food Security (PPFS); Oceans and Fisheries Working Group (OFWG) and AD Hoc Steering Group on the Internet Economy (AHSGIE).

APEC 2017 is themed “Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future”. Vietnam has suggested 4 priorities, including promoting extensive and intensive regional economic connectivity; promoting sustainable, creative and inclusive growth; enhancing competitiveness and creativity of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in the digital era; enhancing food security and sustainable agriculture, adapting to climate change.
APEC 2017 SOM1 and Related Meetings take place in Nha Trang City from February 18 to March 3, focusing on discussion on work plans and suggestions for the implementation of the priorities.
