On February 21, Khanh Hoa Psychiatrics Hospital celebrated the 62nd Vietnamese Doctors' Day anniversary (February 27, 1955-2016).

At the ceremony, representatives reviewed the tradition of the 62nd Vietnamese Doctors' Day anniversary and achievements of the hospital. In 2016, the hospital fulfilled and exceeded many targets. Specifically, the hospital gave medical examination to over 95,120 arrivals, achieving 115% of the plan, with inpatient treatment to 3,720, achieving 17.8%, and inpatient bed occupancy rate of 107%. Besides, the hospital applied 16 new techniques in mental tests, rehabilitation, drug addiction diagnosis and treatment; 158 medical examination procedures; with 3 scientific studies and technical initiatives. Furthermore, the hospital provided community-based mental health care for more than 2,080 patients.
On this occasion, 2 individuals of the hospital were awarded the title “Excellent doctor”. 1 group and 2 individuals were granted certificates of merit by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee. 16 individuals and 5 groups received certificates of merit by the Department of Health.
