Vietnam Housing and Urban Development Group (HUD), Ministry of Construction began construction of a social housing project at Phuoc Long New Urban Area on February 18. Present at the event was Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Bui Pham Khanh, Deputy Minister of Construction; Le Xuan Than, , Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and Dao Cong Thien, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

The VND370.4 billion project has 3 ten-storey apartment blocks with 664 flats, 59-66m2 each, on an area of 17,896m2. The apartments are expected to open for sales in 2018. The project has modern architecture with roads, parking lots, landscapes, etc harmoniously connected and accommodated to complete technical infrastructures of Phuoc Long Urban Area.
The investor has submitted the selling cost, under VND9.5 million/m2, to Khanh Hoa People’s Committee for approval.
