Under a draft plan on agricultural vocational training for rural laborers period 2017 – 2020, over 900,000 rural laborers will be provided vocational training and 80 percent of whom are expected to find jobs immediately thereafter, according to Department of Cooperatives & Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development.
The total cost of the plan is VND1.75 trillion. Beneficiaries will be in cultivation, breeding, forestation, aquaculture and fishery, agro-forestry and aquatic processing, and salt industry in rural disadvantaged areas; and sectors to effectively adapt to climate change and maritime environmental pollution.
